PLEASE NOTE: Due to inflation if your painting is large like a 36x36 or “48x36” UPS charges extra to ship to residents. Alison will do her best to get an estimated quote from UPS or Fed Ex for you.

ABOUT THE PROCESS

  • Commissioning a custom work is a very personal thing and I love collaborating with my clients.

  • Once a size is chosen, the color palette and basic imagery are determined. I will give you an estimate of the price.

Questions to ask yourself

  1. Where is this painting going to hang? Your home, your office, a client’s home, or a public space?

  2. Do you know the approximate size of the painting you need? If you’re unsure, I can help you figure out the best dimensions for your wall. (I’ve got some tricks up my sleeve!)

  3. What paintings in my collection do you like, or are you inspired by?

  4. What attributes of those paintings do you like? Bold brushstrokes, colors, sky, water, imagery, etc.

Common Questions

  1. How long does it take to create a painting?

    Commission pieces take 4 to 5 weeks to complete from the start date. The time frame is also dependent on size and if there are any other clients ahead of you.
     

  2. Payment and additions?

    Once the price is decided a deposit is required to hold your spot on the calendar.. An invoice will be e-mailed to you and you can pay online with a credit card. Final payment is due once the painting is complete. All sales are final.
     

  3. Do you ship or deliver?

    Both. There is an additional cost for shipping and delivery that is not included in the painting price.

    Studio pick-up is also an option.
