Delicate brushstrokes and gold pen adorn these lovely ceramic ornaments and candles. Alison dug into her background for inspiration. Growing up she observed her grandparents paint flowers and tend to their rose garden at their museum in Racine, Wis.

Alison's aim is to create abstract paintings that are contemplative and evocative. Her use of blended colors and her tools on canvas tend to give her work an atmospheric effect. It is intentional.
Through the view of contrasting soft and dark colors she wants the viewer to stay awhile. Look within. Her body of work is representative of her paths in life, which is inspired by her adventures, independence, love of color and natural surroundings.
